Study of protestant theology at Instituto Adventista de Ensino in São Paulo, Brazil (not finished).

German course at Seminar Schloss Bogenhofen in Austria.

September 1991 until December 1991
Attendance at lectures of the Special Course for Graphic Design at the Higher Technical Federal Institute (Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt) of Linz, Austria. At the aptitude test I scored 40,5 of 50 points and had thereby the highest evaluation among all candidates.

1992 to 2000
Study at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna (Konservatorium der Stadt Wien). Two disciplines of studies: Solo Singing (not finished) and Opera, successfuly finished. Academically certified opera singer.

At the age of 13 years I worked in the afternoon for the newspaper Jornal do Iapó, the local newspaper of my birth city, and for the printing company Kugler Artes Gráficas as drawer, illustrator and photographer. When Ney Braga (at that time governor of the State of Paraná) payed a visit to my city of birth he was photographed by me for the front page of the Jornal do Iapó and was astonished as he was informed by the people surrounding him that I was only 13 years old.

From the age of 15 on I worked in my holidays as a commercial agent of health books and products, in order to finance my education and my later study.

1985-1986
Employee in the largest private bank of Brazil, the Bradesco (Banco Brasileiro de Descontos). Active in various functions, above all however at the cash desk and in the customer care.

Artistic activities in Brazil
Numerous performances with gospel music particularly as soloist but also as a member of trios, male quartets and various vocal ensembles in whole Brazil. In 1987 sample recordings with one the most prestigious gospel male quartets of Brazil, Os Arautos do Rei.

Artistic professional experience since the moving to Vienna in 1992
Numerous performances with professional choirs with concerts in Austria, Israel, Italy, Japan and in the USA, e.g. with the choir Concentus Vocalis and the Israeli Philharmonics under Theodor Guschlbauer in Tel Aviv and in Jerusalem, with the Arnold Schoenberg Choir and the Vienna Philharmonics under Seiji Osawa at the Vienna Konzerthaus and at the Carnegie Hall in New York and with a private production of Offenbach's "Orpheus Goes to Hell" in a tour of one month across Japan. Various solo performances with different programs, including Vaughan Williams' song cycle "Songs of Travel", lieder recital at the Schubert-Saal of the Vienna Konzerthaus with pieces of Heitor Villa-Lobos and lieder recital at the Vienna Bösendorfer-Saal with pieces of Heitor Villa-Lobos and Lorenzo Fernandes. Performances in different theaters, e.g. in the Stadttheater Baden, in Austria, and in the Vienna Theater Akzent as The King in Orff's "Die Kluge", as The Father in Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel", as Figaro in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" and as Guglielmo in Mozart's "Così Fan Tutte".

1995 to 1999, April 2006 until October 2006
Singer at the Vienna Burgtheater under contract. Participation in various productions such as Brecht's "Die Dreigroschenoper", Offenbach's "Orpheus Goes to Hell", Jelinek's "Ein Sportstück", under Einar Schleef, as actor in Turrini's "Die Liebe in Madagaskar" and under the british director Declan Donnellan in Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida".

Since 2006
Performing the most international of all brazilian music styles: Bossa Nova.

Additional Qualifications

Very good knowledge of the Macintosh operating system and experience of many years in the use of softwares such as Adobe Photoshop (imaging), Adobe Golive (website creation), Logic (music production) and Microsoft Word.

Since my work as a photographer at the age of 13 years for the Jornal do Iapó I maintain my photography hobby with much devotion. In 2004 I was contracted by the opera singer Elisabeth Kulman to photograph one of her performances at the Vienna Volksoper for her offical website.
